Optimize your Pelvic Health with Cultivate Your Wellbeing today! Our therapists are doctors of physical therapy and certified pelvic health specialists. They draw on current research, years of experience and training in a wide variety of techniques to customize each treatment session to meet your specific goals. The pelvic floor does not function alone and we find it imperative to treat holistically, looking elsewhere in your body to discover contributing factors to your issue and make sure you are functioning better as a whole person. We understand the sensitive nature of pelvic health conditions and ensuring your comfort is our priority. Cultivate Your Wellbeing provides our custom approach through in-person treatment sessions, telehealth sessions, or the combination of both to best suit your needs.
Pregnancy and birth place a unique demand on your body, especially throughout your core and pelvic floor. As you navigate this wonderful and challenging time, it is important that you feel your best. As your baby grows your body adapts often causing postural and muscular changes that may lead to pain, faulty movement patterns, or limit you in the activities you want to pursue. Cultivate Your Wellbeing provides hands on physical therapy, exercises prescribed specifically for you, and functional movement training that can help with many issues during pregnancy. We also focus on helping you to prepare your body for birth.
The information online regarding postpartum recovery is often confusing and contradicting. We do not believe in a one size fits all approach and customize your treatment plan based on your body and symptoms as well as your unique goals. In most cases, we recommend starting physical therapy after your postpartum check up with your provider, but if you are experiencing a lot of pain or want guidance on early recovery we may see you earlier. Whether you had a vaginal delivery or cesarean section, our physical therapists will optimize your recovery and get you feeling your best!

Visceral Manipulation is a treatment technique created by Jean-Pierre Barral that treats a person's functional and structural imbalances with an aim to affect their musculoskeletal, vascular, nervous, urogenital, respiratory, digestive, and lymphatic dysfunction. The focus of this approach is to "listen and follow" your body tissues, making each session completely unique to your specific needs.
The physical therapists at Cultivate Your Wellbeing have had extensive training in visceral manipulation through the Barral Institute and incorporate these techniques as a tool in their holistic treatment of patients with pain, prolapse, bowel and bladder issues and more.
Trigger point dry needling is a technique that involves inserting a thin, sterile needle into muscle tissue to treat pain. The goal is to stimulate trigger points, which can help relax tight muscle bands and ease discomfort.
Many of our patients with musculoskeletal pain or restricted scar tissue find relief from dry needling as part of their physical therapy sessions.
Myofascial decompression also known as "Cupping Therapy", is an orthopedic therapy for safe and effective treatment for pain and discomfort in the muscles and joints. This technique helps release tension, improve blood flow, and promote faster healing and improved function. Cupping can be used dynamically with functional movement to further improve muscle tension. Cupping can also be helpful in mobilizing restricted scar tissue.
Pilates is a full body workout using a series of controlled movements to improve strength, muscle recruitment, flexibility, balance, and posture. Our therapists have a background in Pilates and utilize Pilates exercises and principles during physical therapy sessions to target your specific needs and goals.
We also offer private Pilates Training for those who want to dive deeper into their pilates journey and utilize the pilates reformer for their workouts. Many of our patients choose to participate in pilates between physical therapy sessions or complete a series of pilates classes after graduating from physical therapy as a bridge to starting or returning to group exercise classes.
Pilates sessions are sold individually or in discounted packages. Contact us with any questions or to book your pilates session today!
I cannot recommend anyone better than Katie and Jennie for Pelvic Floor PT! After having my baby, I felt it was difficult to connect to my core and had some residual pain from perineal tearing and healing. Katie took the time to really listen to my concerns and to help make a game plan to get me back to feeling my best. Honestly, by the time I was finished with treatment, I was able to engage my core and perform activity and exercise better than I was pre-pregnancy! Katie is so knowledgeable and explains the science and anatomy for anyone to understand. I also had the joy of meeting Jennie when Katie was not available for one session. She performed cupping to help with some muscle pain and it helped tremendously. I honestly am looking forward to seeing Jennie for prenatal PT whenever we decide to have another baby! "

Katie made me feel comfortable & welcome at my first visit for pelvic floor dysfunction. She listened to my concerns and worked alongside me to develop a realistic treatment plan & identify goals. She celebrated with me as each goal was achieved & encouraged me when the next goal seemed daunting.

I started working with Jennie around 32 weeks pregnant when I had some discomfort and concerns, almost immediately I felt relief and it continued to progress throughout the rest of my pregnancy. I had zero tears during my labor and I owe a majority of that to pelvic PT preparing me! Postpartum I was having some common issues as well such as DR, leaking, etc, all of which were properly managed and healed through manual work at my appointments and through exercises given to me to do on my own at home. Jennie does a great job of making you feel comfortable - most physically and mentally. She really listened to all my concerns and provided a personalized plan to help me feel like myself again. I could not recommend her more for pregnancy and postpartum recovery."
